Ana Beatriz Ferreira gets the 1st Honorable Mention in the Best Master Thesis Award of the Portuguese Materials Society (SPM), with the Thesis "Tribological Behavior of Metal Surfaces Nanotextured with Femtosecond Lasers", supervised by Rui Vilar and Amélia Almeida.
CeFEMA’s student gets Master Thesis award by SPM
Miguel Fraústo de Brito Costa gets the 1st Honorable Mention in the Best Master Thesis Award of the Portuguese Materials Society (SPM) held last November at Oporto. The Thesis, "Development of Li-Sn alloys for application in Nuclear Fusion Reactors", was supervised by Alberto Cabral Ferro, Rodrigo Mateus and Pedro Rosa.
