Abstract
In this talk, we will discuss the problem of charged particles traversing two dimensional materials. After a review of the significance of screening in two dimensional materials, and its relation with the space and time-dependent conductivity of such materials, we apply the RPA approximation to compute the energy loss of a fast-travelling charged particle traversing a 2D material.
